Style- The photos are simple. Most photos there isn't a complicated background, most of the times a solid color. They take photos of unique, uncommon things and make them look cool and modern. The names of the collections are also simple as well. Their photos have some variety, but still have the same sort of theme.
Philosophy- The native collection has shoes that were by the native company. They were trying to take unique photos. In some photos, they would take pictures of ordinary things. Some photos have objects that are set up for lighting to come through. They were trying to say that you can take pictures of anything if you think outside the box a little.
Influences- Their photos show that you can make simple things photograph worthy. It also shows that you can photograph really anything and make it interesting. If you have the correct lighting or correct effects, it can really add to the character of the picture. Their photography has also showed me that you have to think outside the box sometimes to be able to get something new. I really like simple photography, so they have given me new ideas.
teeny tiny pop pow peace out dawg
Compare and Contrast- The photos I picked were simple. I had trouble finding the right color background. I tried my best for the hand figures. The lighting is different from the original. It was close enough to realize that I was trying to recreate the photos.
Personal artist statement- These are hand signs I use the most. I tried getting close to pay attention to detail. I cropped some of the pictures to add more detail. The texture of walls kinda showed. They're such simple photos that the main view point had to be in the center.
